Strategic Wikipedia Advisory & Editorial Services
Wikiable helps organizations, executives, and public figures build, improve, and maintain a credible Wikipedia presence. We begin with independent research and strategic advisory — then execute responsibly, within Wikipedia's policies, at every stage of the journey.
[1]Wikipedia is an independent encyclopedia governed by volunteer editors. Wikiable does not control or guarantee outcomes there. We provide research, strategic advisory, and responsible editorial execution — so every step you take is an informed one.
[2] Why Wikiable
Organizations choose Wikiable because credible Wikipedia work demands both: the judgement to know what's possible, and the editorial craft to do it responsibly.
Every engagement starts with independent research into what reliable sources have actually published — never with assumptions or ambitions.
Before anything is written, we assess notability, evaluate risk, and set a realistic strategy. Sometimes the best advice is to wait — and we say so.
When the evidence supports moving forward, experienced editorial professionals develop neutral, verifiable, properly sourced content to encyclopedic standards.
Neutrality, verifiability, reliable sourcing, and conflict-of-interest disclosure govern every recommendation and every edit we advise.
We assess coverage the way Wikipedia's editors do — skeptically, and with close attention to reliability, independence, and depth.
We optimize for reputation that compounds over years — not visibility that evaporates under community scrutiny.
Wikipedia is a global, multilingual platform. Our research and guidance span international coverage, clients, and time zones.

INDEX OF SERVICES — SELECT TO EXPAND
Wikipedia rewards evidence and punishes shortcuts. A sound strategy prevents the deleted drafts, flagged articles, and public missteps that cost far more than they save.
We map your situation — existing coverage, history on the platform, objectives — and design a realistic, policy-aligned roadmap with clear sequencing and honest trade-offs.
Informed decisions, sensible timing, and a strategy your leadership can defend — grounded in how Wikipedia actually works.
Notability — significant coverage in reliable, independent sources — is the threshold every article must clear. Misjudging it is the single most common cause of failure.
We measure your existing coverage against Wikipedia's actual criteria and deliver a candid verdict: ready, partially ready, or not yet — with the evidence behind it.
A clear readiness picture before resources are committed, and a documented gap analysis for what's still missing.
On Wikipedia, sources are everything. Press releases, sponsored content, and passing mentions carry no weight — and mistaking them for real coverage derails entire projects.
We discover coverage across news archives, academic databases, and books, then classify each source for reliability, independence, and significance — the way editors will.
A source review matrix showing exactly which references carry weight, which don't, and why.
Wikipedia's policies on neutrality, verifiability, and conflict-of-interest disclosure interact in ways newcomers rarely anticipate. Non-compliance risks lasting reputational damage.
We interpret how the policies apply to your specific situation, advise on required disclosures, and review any planned activity for compliance before it happens.
Engagement with Wikipedia that is transparent, defensible, and safe for your long-term reputation.
An encyclopedic article is a distinct craft: neutral tone, verifiable claims, proper sourcing, and encyclopedic structure. Promotional writing fails — quickly and publicly.
When research supports it, we develop article content built entirely on independent reliable sources, written neutrally, and prepared through Wikipedia's appropriate channels with proper disclosure.
Content developed to the standard the volunteer community expects — with realistic expectations about the review process it will face.
Outdated facts, missing context, poor sourcing, or maintenance tags on an existing article shape how the world sees you — often for years.
We audit the article against current policy, identify legitimate improvements supported by reliable sources, and pursue them through proper community processes such as disclosed edit requests.
A more accurate, better-sourced article — improved the right way, with the community rather than against it.
Drafts written in-house often read like marketing — and get treated accordingly. Expert review before submission prevents avoidable rejection.
We assess your draft or article line by line against neutrality, sourcing, and structural standards, and deliver prioritized, specific editorial feedback.
A clear picture of where a draft stands, what must change, and whether it's ready for the scrutiny ahead.
Wikipedia exists in hundreds of language editions, each with its own community and standards. A presence in one language rarely transfers automatically to another.
We advise on which language editions are realistic given available sources, and support accurate, policy-aligned translation and adaptation rather than mechanical copying.
A credible multilingual presence built edition by edition, on the evidence each community requires.
Wikipedia articles change — through good edits, vandalism, and everything in between. An unwatched article can drift far from accuracy before anyone notices.
We track changes to relevant articles, interpret what they mean, and advise on appropriate, policy-compliant responses — distinguishing genuine problems from normal editing.
Early awareness, measured responses, and an article that stays accurate over time.
Persistent vandalism or edit disputes can destabilize an article. Wikipedia has established mechanisms for these situations — but they must be requested properly, with evidence.
We assess whether a situation genuinely meets the community's thresholds, and guide you through the legitimate channels for requesting protection or dispute resolution.
Stability pursued the right way — through community process, not confrontation.
Wikipedia reflects what independent sources publish. Inaccurate or unbalanced content is best addressed at the level of evidence and process — never by trying to force the encyclopedia's hand.
We analyze what the article says versus what reliable sources support, and pursue corrections through transparent, disclosed community channels — while advising on the broader coverage that shapes it.
A Wikipedia presence that is accurate, fairly balanced, and durable — because it was corrected legitimately.

[5] Wikipedia Insights
The most expensive Wikipedia mistakes come from misconceptions. These are the ones we correct most often.
Not importance, revenue, or follower counts — evidence. A subject is notable when reliable sources that are fully independent of it have covered it in depth. Funding rounds and press releases don't count; sustained, substantive coverage by journalists, scholars, and reputable publishers does. Notability is measured, not claimed.
Almost always for one of three reasons: the subject doesn't yet meet notability standards, the sourcing leans on non-independent material, or the tone reads as promotional. All three are foreseeable — which is why assessment before writing isn't caution, it's efficiency.
Publications with real editorial oversight and a reputation for accuracy: established news organizations, peer-reviewed journals, books from reputable publishers. Generally excluded: self-published material, company websites, sponsored content, and most user-generated platforms. Context matters — the same outlet can be reliable for one claim and not another.
Wikipedia's articles belong to no one — including their subjects. Volunteer editors decide what's created, kept, and changed, applying community policy. No consultancy controls that process, and any firm implying otherwise is misrepresenting how the encyclopedia works. Sound strategy works with this reality, not against it.
Having a stake in an article — as its subject, employee, or paid representative — is a conflict of interest under Wikipedia's guidelines. It doesn't bar engagement, but it requires disclosure and specific channels, such as edit requests reviewed by independent editors. Concealment, when discovered, causes far more damage than the disclosure ever would.
That a page can simply be purchased. That more edits mean better outcomes. That deletion is arbitrary. That an article is a marketing asset you control. Each misconception leads to a predictable failure — and each dissolves once you understand that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia governed by evidence, not a platform governed by spend.
[6] Our Commitment
Everything we do — from the first assessment to the last edit request — operates within one framework:
Trust is earned by respecting the platform — not by trying to manipulate it.
[7] Questions
The questions that matter, answered the way an advisor should answer them.
No — and no honest firm can. Wikipedia's volunteer editors make every editorial decision under community policy. What we provide is rigorous research, candid assessment, professional editorial work, and the soundest policy-aligned path forward.
Both — in that order. Every engagement begins with research and strategic advisory. When the evidence supports action, our editorial professionals execute responsibly: neutral drafting, proper sourcing, required disclosures, and Wikipedia's appropriate channels. We never execute what the research doesn't support.
Then you'll hear it plainly, with the evidence behind it — and a practical roadmap for what genuine readiness would require, usually centered on building real independent coverage over time. An honest "not yet" costs far less than a public rejection.
Yes. We audit existing articles against current policy and pursue legitimate corrections through disclosed community channels. After a deletion, we analyze the stated reasons and give a clear-eyed evaluation of whether — and how — the underlying issues can realistically be addressed.
By following them. Wikipedia's guidelines call for disclosure and specific channels when a contributor has a stake in a subject, and our work is built around those requirements. We advise clients on their own obligations and hold our execution to the same standard.
Book a strategy call. You'll walk us through your situation and objectives, and receive an honest first read on scope, feasibility, and next steps — including whether now is the right time at all.
Start with evidence. Proceed with strategy. Execute responsibly. Wherever you are in that journey, the next step is a conversation.
